ARTISAN GRAINS FOR THE HEART, IN THE HEARTLAND

3 Bear Oats was born from its founder’s love of cooking and her many years in Europe. Having relocated to Minnesota, Therese began experimenting with steel-cut oats in ways common to Northern European meal routines. She was inspired by the Danish concept of hygge (hoo-ga), which warms hearts and homes with an emphasis on relaxation, indulgence and gratitude. Hygge curates soothing spaces and communities in the coldest days of the season, and emotional grounding all year around.

Bring a touch of hygge home from the market in the form of one of our grain bowls. As an easy on-hand fresh option, experiment with unique ways to work it into your routine. Our wholesome, sweet and savory recipes celebrate the healthy, creative Northern spirit. We embrace the bounty of our local farms in season, while supporting local farmers.

In the Twin Cities area find us in the freezer case at all 3 Lakewinds Co-op locations, Linden Hills Coop, The Wedge Lyndale, Lunds & Byerlys, Jerry’s Foods, Fresh Thyme, Kieran’s Kitchen, Fine Acre and Whole Earth co-ops in Wisconsin.

Online delivery via Instacart and Market Wagon. Pre-order through our Square site and pick up at select farmers markets. Now at the University of Minnesota Residence Hall Markets and Fireside Market, and St John’s University Minnesota. Also check our facebook page for dates and find us in person at many mill city farmer’s markets and east isles markets.
